I am a highly skilled professional proofreader with over 15 years’ experience in the publishing industry.
I am a specialist in law and criminology, with extensive experience in several other subject areas. I am a veteran of highly complex multi-contributor titles and have completed over 400 projects, including many with internationally renowned authors.
I am flexible, approachable, and focused on providing a frictionless experience for clients.
I have experience proofreading a wide range of books including academic and professional law, history, religion, English Language Teaching, biographies, poetry, fiction, travel books, e-books, website material and many others. In addition I have many years’ experience as a Production Editor at a major academic publisher, where I routinely proofread cover proofs, marketing materials and legal tables.
I am a professional member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (formerly the Society for Editors and Proofreaders).
I have an MPhil (with distinction) in Publishing from the Stirling Centre for International Publishing and Communication and a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature.
